Education Ministry & Sunday School
Our Sunday School classes provide an opportunity to study the Bible in a small group setting of your peers as well as provide fellowship and prayer support as we seek to live for Jesus in this world. In addition to our Sunday School Ministry the men and women in our church gather for special Bible studies.
Child care is provided for all services.
In addition to Sunday School classes for our children, we also offer missions activities (RA & GA) for children in grades 1 through 5. During missions time, the children learn about cultures and people from different countries and the missionary families who share Jesus' love with them.
The goal of the Youth Ministry at White Sulphur Baptist Church is to see youth "passionately seek, wholeheartedly surrender, and joyfully serve" Jesus Christ. We desire to build a community of faith and to help each other live authentic Christian lives. We gather for fellowship and to seek truth every Sunday morning during HS & MS Sunday School and Wednesday evening during our Wednesday Fellowship. Our Club Aletheia and Hebrews Coffee House time is another opportunity for us to face tough questions and issues together. Our monthly activities include cookouts, game nights, Christian concerts, ice-skating, lock-ins, and other special activities. We desire to get to know our church family through S.N.A.C. (Sunday Night After Church) gatherings at their homes. We desire to serve God and others by mission trips, BC-J (Because of Jesus) service projects, a monthly outreach time, and other activities. To keep parents informed of activities and important issues we have a bimonthly Youth Parent Fellowships and Youth Ministry Newsletter.
