As a Bible believing fellowship, White Sulphur Baptist Church desires to be faithful to all of God's teachings in Scripture.  We believe God cares about every aspect of our lives, and we strive to honor Him in what we do and believe.  Our Constituion & By-Laws help our church operate in an orderly way that we believe honors God.  Our Church Covenant is a commitment before God that members of our church make to each other.  The Church Covenant is more than a membership requirement, it declares a portrait of the way we want to live in fellowship together.  The core of our church's beliefs can be found in a document or doctrinal statement called The Baptist Faith and Message.  We believe The Baptist Faith and Message accurately states Scripture's position on a wide variety of topics.

Missions and the Great Commission are very important at WSBC. The Baptist Faith and Message is also the doctrinal statement of the Southern Baptist Convention which we partner with for local, state, national, and international missions.  The Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) is a national group of some 42,000+ like minded churches.  Through the SBC we support a wide variety of ministries: International Mission Board, North American Mission Board, Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission, six seminaries, Baptist Press, Lifeway Christian Resources, and various other ministries. We have also worked with other missions agencies to send mission teams to central and southern Africa.

Locally, WSBC partners with the Elkhorn Baptist Association as well as the AMEN House here in Georgetown.  We also work with our state fellowship of churches known as the Kentucky Baptist Convention, other local churches in projets like Serve the City, and outreach organizations such as Friends for Families in Corbin, KY.
